Introducing the Summer Festival of Writing!
I know many of you have been eagerly awaiting news about our annual Festival of Writing. Thank you for your patience while we’ve been working very hard behind the scenes. We are now delighted to announce that we are turbo-charging our Festival of Writing on a global scale.
If you’ve always wanted to come to the life-changing Festival of Writing, but haven’t due to cost or distance – this online festival captures all the usual York magic, and transports it right into your living room.
Throughout summer, we’ll be joined by some of the biggest names in books, including authors Neil Gaiman, Clare Mackintosh and Adam Croft, publishers HarperCollins, Bookouture, and Galley Beggar Press, plus top agents from across the world.
– 50+ events
– 100+ hours of workshops
– Plus loads of talks and advice from mega selling authors, publishers, experts, top agents and editors.
Our Summer Festival of Writing community group is open to all ticket holders and will be available 24/7 for chatting, sharing ideas, talking about events and some fun social events.
An all-access festival ticket is just £150 but if you’re a member of Jericho Writers, you get it for an incredible £75. (You can join here, should you wish to save some extra dough.)
What’s more, we’ll soon be releasing phone call one-to-one sessions with book doctors, agents and publishers from all over the world for an additional £50, which you’ll get first dibs on as a ticket-holder.
Yeah this looks like it could be brilliant, I have emailed Jericho to get some answers to questions I have regarding the event. Shame its not being held in York, I only live 40 miles away from there, just an hour’s drive down the A1079. Depending on the answers to my questions I may well be signing up for this, a bargain price for members too.
I have signed up, I was planning to go to York this year and gutted I can’t visit in person but this is a brilliant way to do this. So much for us all to savour and at a bargain price. Can’t wait to start..
I signed up for this now. Going to try and source a cheap laptop that has sound cos my pc has none. The soundcard I installed about 8 months ago packed up, the onboard sound from the motherboard doesn’t like being asked to work either. In the throws of sorting out an upgrade to build a better, faster, more compliant system cos mine is about 10 years old – so in pc terms its claiming its pension and it has hip issues (abit like me really – minus the pension bit). Been to York loads of times anyway lol
Just tried to sign up for annual membership but it keeps rejecting my email and telling me I already have an account. Is that because of the Townhouse membership? If so do I need to sign up for annual membership using a separate email?
