What’s included in my full Jericho Writers membership?
We put as much as we can into the Jericho Writers membership, with more being added all the time. Your membership includes full access to:
- Writing and Publishing Resources. That includes over 300 professional video courses; masterclasses; feature films; quick tips and replays of past events, covering all parts of writing and publishing.
- Live member events. Watch live via webinar, or catch up later. Simply register for the ones you like the look of to get a link to watch live in your inbox.
- AgentMatch. Our database of every literary agent in the UK and US, which makes searching for agents so much easier.
- Expert Member Advice. Get free feedback from our team on your query letter, or book in a call for support.
What’s not included in my full Jericho Writers Membership?
We firmly believe in fair pay for authors and tutors. Therefore, any service requiring one-to-one tutor time will carry an extra charge to cover this. This includes:
- Tutored courses.
- Editorial services.
- Mentoring.
- Agent one-to-ones.
- Special events, such as The Festival of Writing.
However, full members receive a 10% discount (or more!) on all these services. If you’re signed into your account, you’ll have these discounts automatically applied, so you can see the price upfront.
What kind of discount do I get on tutored services?
We offer full members of Jericho Writers a 10% discount (or more) on tutored services whenever we can.
To see your discounted prices, just ensure you’re logged in when you browse what we have on offer.
How do I pay for my membership?
When you joined Jericho Writers, you would have opted either for a monthly membership, or an annual one. Your card will be charged for payment for your first month/year immediately.
After that, subsequent payments are paid via automated recurring card payments at the same time each month/year. For example, if you bought your monthly membership on 1 January, your next card payment would come out again on 1 February – and so on. If you bought an annual subscription on 21 May 2021, then your future card payment would come out on 21 May 2022 – and so on.
How do I cancel my membership?
You are free to cancel your membership at any time and we make it as easy as possible for you to do so (although we’d be sorry to see you go!)
Just head to your Account page, select ‘Orders’ from the dropdown, then ‘view’ your membership subscription and click the ‘Cancel’ button. This will cancel your recurring card payments.
If at any time you want to come back, that’s fine, too. Just login, go to your Account click on ‘My Subscription’ and re-activate the subscription.
How do I upgrade to an annual membership?
If you subscribed to Jericho Writers for a month and have decided to upgrade to an annual subscription, please follow these steps:
- Go to ‘My Account’ in the top right corner of your screen.
- Click on ‘Subscriptions’ in the drop-down menu.
- Click on ‘View’ your active subscription and then on ‘Cancel.’
- Now that your previous subscription is cancelled, you can re-join: click here Join Us – Jericho Writers and select the annual membership.
Complete the transaction. Your new annual membership will start on the day you upgrade, and will renew 12 months later on the very same day.
