Richard’s second novel, the coming-of-age tale Flying Saucer Rock and Roll, came out with Cape, 2008.
The short story collection The Shuffle was published by The Big Hand Press as an ebook in 2008, while the novella Pretty Boy Tigh, set in the world of pre-school TV shows, was also released as an ebook by Galley Beggars Press in 2014, followed by a second collection of stories, Erotic Nightmares in 2017, through the Abandoned Bookshop imprint of Canelo.
Richard’s writing on art has featured in the journals Frieze and Elephant. A survey of London in art, London in the Company of Painters, was published by Laurence King in 2017.
Richard lives in Worthing. He has been an “editor for hire” at Jericho Writers since the very start, when it was the Writers’ Workshop.
