Very practical and specific

"Very practical and specific advice. Rosie's advice was very specific on MS and the querying process."

Uplifting and useful

"Rosie's report was encouraging and helpful! A report like this is so valuable because Rosie picked up on editorial feedback that was just... so spot on. Rosie knows her stuff! Having this report, even at this [advanced] stage of my querying / publishing journey, has been uplifting and useful. Thank you!"

Given me some encouragement

"I've been writing my first novel for seven years and have had several editorial review, using Jericho each time. I was really excited to read Rosie Fiore's assessment, which has given me some encouragement after much hard work. I'm now looking forward to my follow-up discussion with her."

Why we love Rosie

Rosie has tackled romance, historical fiction, commercial fiction, and books containing robots, and we don’t think she’s going to stop there! She’s also worked across theatre and television, and has over 30 years experience working with great mentors, editors and teachers of writing. She understands that everyone works differently and aims to support you with direct, actionable advice on your manuscript.

What Rosie says about editing

I want to help you to develop the very best story you can. I want it to be your story, told in your unique voice.

I started writing my first novel in 2003. I had no idea what I was doing, and began simply by imitating the shape of books I had read and enjoyed. Over the years, I have been privileged to work with great mentors, editors and teachers of writing, and I’ve learned how supportive, constructive work with another can help you to shape your story and clarify your path.

In my work as an editor, I hope to encourage – and note how the word courage lives within that word − you to be bold and clear in your writing. I will help you to shape both the larger structure of the story and strengthen each element within it.

Everyone works differently – some are plotters and planners, some work more organically. I will help you to make the most of your own creative process and your distinctive skills.
