To make the most of your 20-minute session, please come prepared with specific questions for the tutor of your choosing — for example, how they might help you solve a particular challenge in your novel by working together on the course. The more focused your questions, the easier it will be to determine whether the course is the right fit for you and your project. Upon booking, you will be invited to book your preferred time with the tutor. The session will then take place over Zoom (link sent upon booking.)

How does it work?

After you’ve completed your payment, our team will email you to help organise your session. You’ll then be connected with your chosen mentor to arrange a time that suits you best. Once your session time is confirmed, it will take place either via Zoom or over a phone call.

To make the most of your 20-minute session, please come prepared with specific questions for your mentor — these might include how to best use your time together or how they would approach helping you resolve a challenge in your novel. The more focused your questions, the better you’ll be able to determine whether the mentor is the right fit for you and your novel.

What is Mentoring?

Our personalised mentoring service pairs writers with published authors and industry experts for one-on-one guidance. Our mentors, bestselling and award-winning professionals, help writers at any stage; from developing a work in progress to preparing submission materials. The program provides flexible scheduling, genre-specific expertise, and ongoing accountability, focusing on constructive feedback, motivation, and helping each writer discover their unique voice. Packages are tailored to individual needs, with sessions delivered online across global time zones.

There are many experienced mentors to choose from — including published authors and industry professionals who specialise in a wide range of genres such as literary fiction, crime, children’s and young adult fiction, fantasy, memoir, and non-fiction. Each mentor offers personalised, one-on-one guidance tailored to your writing goals and stage of development.

How does it work?

Once you’ve completed payment for the session, you’ll receive a link via email to choose your preferred timeslot. After the time is confirmed, you’ll receive another email with the Zoom link to join on the scheduled day.

To make the most of your 20 minutes, please come with specific questions or areas of your novel you’d like help with – whether it’s character development, dialogue, structure, or overcoming writer’s block. The more focused your questions, the more our mentors can dive deep into the heart of your story!
