Post-Editorial Feedback

Book a two-hour feedback session with your editor and plan your next steps
Want to discuss your work in more detail with someone who already has an in-depth understanding of it? Book a two-hour post-editorial feedback session with your editor to chat through what’s next for your manuscript. Split the two hours however works for you: some can be spent on an assessment of revised material if you wish, or spend all your time on phone or video calls.
We advise taking time to carefully read your editorial report before your session and prepare any questions you’d like to ask in advance. Our recommended timeline for this service is within three months of receiving your report.

Get two-hours of additional support
Communicate directly with your editor
Opportunity to upgrade to mentoring
What’s the difference between post editorial feedback and mentoring?
Post editorial feedback is exclusive to editorial clients, where you can get two hours of additional support from your editor. This will clarify feedback from your report, and advice on next steps. Mentoring offers a longer-term support, where you can book anywhere from 1-30 hours with one of our expert mentors, with sessions bespoke to your needs.

Frequently asked
questions
Who will my Post Editorial Feedback session be with?
Your Post Editorial Feedback session will be with the editor who completed your editorial service. The service is dependent on the editor’s availability.
How long is this session, and what does it cover?
This session is two hours long, and is intended to focus on clarifying feedback, support with rewrites, or guidance on specific problem areas. These two hours can be taken over the phone, video call or via an assessment of revised material, and includes the time it will take your editor to read any new work. This feedback will only be conducted on the manuscript/sections covered in the initial editorial review.
Can I talk about another manuscript in this session?
No. This session is intended to discuss the manuscript from your editorial assessment. If you would like more general feedback and support on your writing, you might consider Mentoring.
I might need longer than two hours, is this possible?
Post Editorial Feedback is limited to two hours. If you would like more long-term support, you might consider Mentoring. You can also upgrade to personalised mentoring with your editor, though this is dependent on their availability, and at a minimum of four hours. Please get in touch with us at editorial@jerichowriters.com if you would like to explore this option.
