Our Writing Courses: Anthologies & EVENT READINGS
Every year, our students produce work that surprises, delights and inspires us. This page celebrates that achievement by showcasing extracts from novels, memoirs and other book-length projects written by participants on our creative writing courses.
These anthologies offer a glimpse into the incredible range of stories being developed within the Jericho Writers community. From literary fiction to crime, fantasy, romance, historical fiction and memoir, each extract represents a writer taking an important step on their publishing journey.
Browse our collection of anthologies below to read extracts from writers across our programmes.
Attended this year’s New York Event?
Download the transcripts of the extracts you heard and contact courses@jerichowriters.com if you would like to learn more.
Would you like to sponsor an under-represented author?
Help a talented writer access life-changing tuition, mentorship, and a supportive writing community. Your sponsorship will fund a place on the Ultimate Novel Writing Programme for a promising author whose voice deserves to be heard but who may face financial barriers to participation. Together, we can help bring new stories and perspectives into publishing.
Discover our anthologies
At the end of the Ultimate Novel Writing Course, we include a sample of each student’s work in an anthology which features first pages from the stories they’ve written across a range of genres. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Jericho Writers or the authors directly if you’re interested in their manuscripts. We hope you enjoy our students’ work as much as they enjoyed writing it, and hopefully find your new debut!
