Lol John. :-) I trimmed down my first chapters so that they fit the 3k or 5k agent criteria, but before then I’d round up or down.
@Debi, you provided an excellent summary sheet that I still have (thank you!). Most agents / book doctors don’t, howevever. So yes, slipping away after the one-to-one’s to jot everything down is crucial. It’s amazing how much we forget – even a few hours later – when our heads are filled with workshop-inspired thoughts.
And to answer the original question: I’ll probably be submitting a day or two early, but not much earlier than that since I’m currently rewritting the final chapters.
