Locked out!

Hello,

I don’t know if you’ve ever been locked out of Jericho Writer’s website, but since Christmas 2022, I’ve been locked out of the system for no apparent reason. I wrote to customer services asking if they could investigate, and investigate they have, for several weeks. Luckily for me they’ve got to the bottom of the problem and finally today I now have full access to the site once more. However, it was a worrying time for me, as I have been contemplating becoming a Premium member, and being locked out put the kybosh on that idea.

Anyway, happily I’m now able to post up my poems once more, but when I did that this morning I found that whatever I posted appeared double spaced instead of the normal single spacing they appeared in before Christmas. So I’ve written to the customer services people again and told them about the oddity in the formatting that’s now appeared. It’s not just me who’s suffering the strange formatting issues either. I notice that since Christmas all the poems posted up in the Poetry page have come out double spaced, so it’s definitely a coding problem with the algorithm behind the page that formats text that’s been copied and pasted in. So now we await further developments regarding this issue.

Other than that, I’m glad to be back, and as soon as they sort out the formatting I’ll be posting up more of my odes, as I like to inflict my misery on everyone else wherever possible, and here’s as good a place as any.  🙂
