Simon & Schuster Open Submission for Under-represented Members

#JerichoWritersOneDay

Our member-exclusive ‘Big 5’ open submission window

We’ve teamed up with publishing giants Simon & Schuster UK to bring our under-represented members an exclusive submission opportunity.

For one day only, our under-represented members can submit directly to the Simon & Schuster editorial team, bypassing the traditional route to publishing.

The #JerichoWritersOneDay open submission window will be between the hours of 8:00 – 20:00 (GMT) on December 6, 2021. Submissions will be considered for #DigitalOriginals, the Simon & Schuster eBook first publishing programme.

What our members think

So many fantastic opportunities, wonderful people and great friends – I am the writer I am today because of them.
Amanda Berriman author of Home (Doubleday)
I took out a month’s membership at Jericho Writers as a birthday present to myself. It is fantastic value. I immersed myself in the information, made notes, and soon felt like I had a bag full of stuff to help me get through the writing process.
Helen Fisher author of Space Hopper (Simon & Schuster)
I became a member of Jericho Writers in the Spring of 2019, when I had just started editing my novel. I watched every single video in the resource library!
Aliya Ali-Afzal author of Would I Lie to You? (Head of Zeus)
I signed up with Jericho, listened to a bunch of the video courses on self-publishing and marketing, and re-branded and re-launched the books in January […] I’m now selling 80-100 ebooks a day.
Barry Kirwan author of The Eden Paradox
I used AgentMatch to refine my list of agents, submitted and crossed my fingers. Several weeks later I had full manuscript requests and then an agent.
Nigel Barker author rep’d by Bell Lomax Moreton Agency
