About Andrew<\/h2>

Andrew Miller is the author of ten novels, from Ingenious Pain<\/em> in 1997 to The Land in Winter<\/em>, published in 2024, which has been short-listed for the 2025 Booker Prize. His work has received a number of prizes including the International IMPAC, the Grinzane Cavour prize in Italy and the Costa Book of Year. His novel Oxygen<\/em> was shortlisted for the Booker prize. Pure<\/em> and Now We Shall Be Entirely Free<\/em> were both shortlisted for the Walter Scott prize for historical fiction.<\/p>\n

His writing has been translated into more than twenty languages. He is a graduate of the East Anglia Writing MA (studying with Malcolm Bradbury, Rose Tremain, and Lorna Sage) and has a doctorate in creative writing from Lancaster University.<\/p>\n
