About the bursary<\/h2>

Mentoring is a bespoke service, designed to be flexible and fit with the different needs and writing stages of each author who contacts us. You could spend your mentoring hours with anything from face-to-face discussions about your ideas, to written feedback on sections of your writing, to a mixture of the two.<\/p>\n

These mentoring hours will be with the brilliant Tom Witcomb<\/a>. Tom has worked as both a literary agent and Big-Five commissioning editor and has extensive experience in helping writers to elevate their work.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\r\n

What’s included?<\/h2>

If successful, you’ll have 12 months to use your 5 hours. Any time it takes for Tom to read and review your work will be deducted from your 5 hours, so we wouldn’t recommend this bursary if you are hoping for a mentor to read an entire draft of your manuscript. If you’re hoping for coaching and feedback while working on your manuscript, help with a plotting pitfall, or even advice on your next steps with querying, mentoring could be a great option for you.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n
