It runs from 2-4 September 2022 and, for the first time, we&#8217;re inviting a Writer in Residence to join us for the Festival.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:20%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column has-opulence-color has-text-color is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"> We&#8217;re delighted that award-winning author and advocate for working-class writers, Kit De Waal, is our first Writer in Residence. To apply for the bursary, you must:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Be available for the dates of the York Festival of Writing (2-4 September 2022).
