Whether through manuscript critiquing, answering listener questions on the Honest Authors podcast or acting as an early reader to peers, it\u2019s a real joy to help a writer pinpoint their goals, identify their challenges and recognise the steps they need to take to achieve the results they deserve.<\/p>\n<p>I will be patient and encouraging, gentle but honest. This is about you, your voice and your story. I cannot do the work for you but I can help you dig deep and find your own path to writing a novel you\u2019re proud to submit to agents or publishers.<\/p>\n<p>I am best placed to help those who seek the traditional publishing route (not self-publishing), and specialise in adult fiction \u2013 there are other mentors better suited to helping YA\/children\u2019s writers and those working on non-fiction.<\/p>\n<p>Mentoring sessions would be conducted over Skype or Zoom, or even email if this is the format you\u2019re most comfortable with. We would arrange mutually convenient times and establish your expectations and priorities early on.
