Jamie is a graduate of Columbia University where she studied for her BA in English. <\/p>\n

Jamie began her career in publishing in 1998 as an Editorial intern with Henry Holt Books for Young Readers. She later held various other editorial positions, including as an Assistant Editor with Random House Children’s Books, then again as an Assistant Editor for Knopf and Crown Books for Young Readers. Jamie then became a Conference Manager and Golden Kite Award Director for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Jamie began working as a Literary Agent for the Andrea Brown Literary Agency in 2008, where she continues to work as a Senior Agent representing a diverse list of authors of children’s literature.<\/p>\n
