A graduate of Kenyon College, Elisabeth Weed began her publishing career at the esteemed literary agency Curtis Brown in 1999. She went on to work with Kneerim & Williams and Trident Media Group, LLC before establishing her own agency, Weed Literary, in 2007, building up an enviable list of authors of upmarket fiction. In 2015, she and three other veteran agents (Julie Barer, Faye Bender, and Brettne Bloom) joined forces to create The Book Group, a large new agency based in Manhattan.
