Rubie is the CEO of the FinePrint Literary Management agency as well as being a Founding Partner of Lincoln Square Books. Rubie has had a diverse and impressive career, working as a Fleet Street journalist and for BBC Radio. He was the director of the publishing section at the New York University Summer Publishing Institute. For 10 years Rubie taught the only degree level course in the U.S.A on how to become a literary agent at NYU.<\/p>\n

Before becoming an agent Rubie had a successful carer as a publishing house editor, where he represented many critically acclaimed and award-winning authors. Rubie also worked as editor-in-chief of a local Manhattan newspaper, and as a freelance book doctor and editor for leading publishers. He was a reviewer for the international trade magazine ‘Publishers Weekly’.
