Neil graduated from Bowdoin College in Maine with a degree in Art History and English and joined what would become the Donadio & Olson Inc. literary agency in 1987 as an Assistant to Founder Candida Donadio and to Eric Ashworth. He later became a Partner in 1996 and gained thirty years of experience in agenting there until it went bankrupt in 2018. Neil moved to Massie & McQuilkin Literary Agents in 2019, where he currently works as a Literary Agent.<\/p>\n

Neil is also a published author under the pseudonym Thomas Hall.
