Katie graduated from Vassar College with a BA in English Language and Literature\/Letters, focusing on late 19th and early 20th-century American Literature. She wrote her college thesis on Shakespeare’s Richard II<\/i> and received the Ellen Roth Reisman Memorial Scholarship for distinction and excellence in Shakespearean Studies. Katie began her literary career in 2005 when she joined the Denise Marcil Literary Agency as Marcil’s Assistant and as Business and Contracts Manager. She joined Don Congdon Associates Inc. in 2008 as a Literary Agent, where she currently works. Katie served two terms on the Association of American Literary Agents’ Board of Directors from 2019 to 2024.
