Valeria holds a BA in Language and Literature from the University of Bologna and an MA in Philosophy and Cultural Heritage from the University Ca’Foscari Venezia. Her publishing career began in Rome, where she sold foreign rights and later worked as a commissioner at Fazi Editore. There, she published the Italian edition of The Twilight Saga<\/i> by Stephenie Meyer and pioneered the European release of works by renowned Argentine authors, including Samanta Schweblin and Alan Pauls. In London, Valeria further honed her expertise as a rights manager at Faber and Faber, followed by roles at Hachette, Hodder & Stoughton, Headline, John Murray, and Quercus.
