Jennie graduated from Stanford University in 1993 with a BS in Chemistry and Honors in Humanities, from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995 with an MA in American Civilization, and from Harvard University in 2003 with a PhD in History of American Civilization. She wrote a book based on her dissertation, ‘Charleston and the Emergence of Middle-Class Culture in the Revolutionary Era’, which was published by University of Georgia Press in 2016. She is also a published author of fiction and short stories under the pseudonym Nora Fleischer.<\/p>\n
Jennie began her literary career in 2011 as an Associate Literary Agent at Red Sofa Literary, where she was promoted to full Literary Agent in 2013. She left to join Donald Maass Literary Agency in 2017, where she continues to work as Literary Agent.<\/p>\n
In addition to agenting, Jennie is currently the President of the Minnesota Book Publishers’ Roundtable. She is a member of the AAR and attends such writers’ events as PitMad.<\/p>\n
