Stacey was a successful child actress and appeared in a variety of television shows, feature films, and theatre productions, including the movies Brighton Beach Memoirs and Three O’Clock High. She graduated from Boston University in 1993 with a degree in Film and Psychology and spent the next five years working in film and television development.<\/p>\n
Stacey started by completing a number of internships in the entertainment business and began her career in earnest at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, where she looked for book projects to be adapted into feature films. She then worked at Hearst Entertainment as an Editor where she scouted material for movies.<\/p>\n
Stacey became a Literary Agent when she joined Dystel, Goderich & Bourret LLC in 1999, where she continues to manage her client list.<\/p>\n
Stacey is a member of the AAR and Women’s Media Group, as well as a council member of the Rutgers University Council on Children’s Literature.
