Prior to joining Folio, Roger worked at Foundry Literary + Media in New York as a literary agent, and served as an Executive Editor at HarperOne, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, where he published multiple New York Times<\/span> bestselling authors including Bart Ehrman, Diana Butler Bass, James Martin, Paul Stanley, Adam Hamilton, Robert Jones, Amy-Jill Levine, Brian McLaren, Kute Blackson, Jack Jenkins, Alexis Wichowski, Gianno Caldwell, Robin Meyers, William Rosenau, John & Colleen Darnell, Paula Stone Williams, John Philip Newell, and other leading voices.<\/p>\n

In advance of joining the editorial team at Harper in 2004, Roger was the Associate Director of Marketing and Publicity where he ran promotional campaigns across the full spectrum of the HarperOne list. <\/p>\n

Roger holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, a Business\/Economics degree from Westmont College, and is a graduate of the Stanford University Professional Publishing Course. He began his publishing career as an envelope-stuffing intern in the publicity department at Princeton University
