Henry’s literary career spans approximately forty years. He began agenting in the early 1980s at such notable agencies as Curtis Brown Ltd. and Harold Ober Associates (now Folio Literary Management). Henry joined the latter agency in 1991 and worked his way up to Director before leaving to set up his own agency in 1997, which was renamed the Dunow, Carlson & Lerner Literary Agency in 2005 following the addition of Jennifer Carlson and Betsy Lerner as named Partners.<\/p>\n

In addition to his role with the agency, Henry is also a published author; he wrote a memoir about fatherhood titled The Way Home: Scenes from a Season, Lessons from a Lifetime (published in 2001 by Random House imprint Broadway Books).<\/p>\n
