Stephanie is originally from France and graduated from Sorbonne University in Paris with a BA in Comparative Literature, focusing on the poetics of translation. While studying there, she worked for fashion magazines with the belief that she would pursue a career in journalism. After arriving in NYC in the late 1990s, however, an internship at the Macmillan Publishers division Farrar, Straus and Giroux convinced her to focus on her passion for literature.<\/p>\n
