Mark Stanton (Stan) completed an English degree with Bristol University before moving to Edinburgh and working with Canongate Books. After working in publishing for more than seven years, Stan joined Jenny Brown Associates in 2004 as a literary agent. He represented over fifty writers from an array of genres. In 2011 he was short-listed for Literary Agent of the Year at the Bookseller Industry Awards.
