Christy attended the University of Southern California. Before starting her own agency in 2003 Christy worked in the publishing industry. She first worked at the Carol Mann Agency as a literary agent and a literary assistant for 2 years. Christy then moved to Carlisle & Company where she worked as VP and as a literary agent for 5 years. Over the years Christy’s clients have included international bestselling and prize-winning authors including recipients of the National Book Award, the Giller Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, and the Nobel Prize. Christy, and her agency more generally, are dedicated to writing spanning commercial fiction, to literary fiction to innovative journalism, memoir, narrative non-fiction, popular science, and thought-provoking non-fiction.
\nIn 2008, Christy launched the company’s expansion into movie production. She produced the Warner Bros film ‘The Rite’, starring Anthony Hopkins’, which opened at number 1 at the box offices and made $100 million worldwide.
