Christopher Vyce was born in Amherst, MA, and now lives in Cambridge. He began his professional life as a sales assistant at antiquarian bookstores in Massachusetts, giving him a firm understanding of sales patterns on the front line of bookselling. After graduating from the Radcliffe Publishing Course, he went on to become Acquisitions Editor and Assistant to the Director at Boston’s Beacon Press, learning about production and bookselling from a publisher’s perspective. Following his experience at the Beacon Press, Christopher decided to set up The Brattle Agency to represent writers he had met and new authors within his area of interest.
