Ramona is a second-generation Jamaican, and third-generation Cape Verdean, born and raised in Boston. She joined BookEnds Literary Agency in 2021 after working as a publishing specialist, poetry editor, publishing support worker, writer, blogger, author, advisor, developer and host on the Hollow Moon Podcast.<\/p>\n
Following her education in Radiologic and Mammographic Technology and Science at the University of Pennsylvania, (as well as a certificate in breast cancer research from the American College of Radiology), Ramona also worked as a diagnostic radiologic technologist. She has a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology, Spanish, from Bowdoin College, and her broad knowledge and experience allow her to champion underrepresented voices in publishing in speculative fiction and understand the richness of the mythology and folklore of mainstream and indigenous groups.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-928626","agent","type-agent","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
