Ginger decided that she wanted to become a writer in high school, but she soon realised that she would need another profession to pay the bills. She initially planned to practise law, but after interning at a medical publisher in Philadelphia during college, she fell in love with the publishing industry. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1998 with a BA in English, then immediately started her literary career that same year as an Editorial Assistant at Tor Books. She began agenting as an Assistant Literary Agent at Writers House in 1999 and she joined Curtis Brown Ltd. in 2005, where she became Vice President and Literary Agent. Her client list there included winners of the Printz Honour and nominees for the Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy awards, as well as NY Times bestsellers.<\/p>\n
Ginger is a member of the Rights Committee of the Book Industry Study Group and attends the Bologna and Frankfurt Book Fairs every year.
