Jessica graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Journalism. She began her publishing career as an Acquisitions Editor with Berkley Publishing, Macmillan, and Wiley in 1994 and held various positions in editing before founding BookEnds Literary Agency in 1999; the agency represents both authors of fiction and nonfiction projects.<\/p>\n
In 2011, Jessica became a Partner with Beyond the Page, a company that offers self-publishing services for e-books. <\/p>\n
Jessica is a regular contributor to Romantic Times magazine, has experience of nearly 15 years of blogging, and has also taught at New York University’s Continuing Education Program. Jessica has been awarded the title “Agent of the Year” by NYC Romance Writers of America; she is a regular guest speaker with national writers’ conferences.
