Marisa graduated
\nfrom Hofstra University in 1995 with a BBA in International Business and
\nMarketing, where she was President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity
\nChapter and the President of the Pre Law Society during her last year. She
\nreceived her Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law in 2000 and
\nearned the same university’s prestigious International Law Certificate. She
\nalso held several Board positions on the Student Bar Association, the Environmental
\nLaw Society, the Chair of Special Committees and the Co-Editor of the Pace
\nUniversity School of Law Year Book in 1999 and 2000.<\/span><\/p>\n

As an attorney, she
\nhas published several articles in her practice areas and is a member of the NY
\nBar Association. She has experience in Top Global Firms and Fortune 500
\ncompanies where she practised Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance,
\nBanking and Compliance before finally turning to agenting, although she still
\nworks as an Attorney and the Founder of the Corvisiero Law Practice, dealing in
\nCorporate Law and Estate Planning.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Marisa worked as a
\nLiterary Agent at the L. Perkins Agency before founding the Corvisiero Literary
\nAgency in 2012, where she currently works. She frequently attends conferences
\nand workshops and continues to present on webinars, tutorials and bootcamps for
\nWriter’s Digest among other sources. Additionally, she hosts her own Author
\nPreneur Workshops, which coach authors on writing, mindset and publishing as a
