The Henry Game (2002) the first of her Young Adult trilogy for Random House became an Ottakar’s Book of the Month and went on to be shortlisted for the Lancashire Book Award. The sequel, Delilah and the Dark Stuff was described by the Borders Bookshop Chain as ‘a satisfying blend of girl power and supernatural frolics’. Mad, Bad and Totally Dangerous completed the trilogy.
Susan also writes adult novels under the pseudonym Sarah Vincent. Her psychological thriller The Testament of Vida Tremayne was released in 2014, with Three Hares Publishing. ‘The Gingerbread Wife,’ a collection of speculative short fiction came out in 2016.
Susan has tutored Arvon workshops. She also devised the successful online Creative Writing Course – Flying Start for Jericho Writers which she went on to tutor for three years.
